Heritage Community Recreation Association (HCRA) is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to providing youth recreational sports opportunities in basketball, baseball and softball for children ages 5 to 18. Thanks to our volunteers, sponsors and the cooperation of our local schools, HCRA serves thousands of children in the Spring Hill and Thompson’s Station areas.

Heritage baseball and softball has been serving the youth in our community for over 8 years now, and the baseball and softball program has grown from 100 to nearly 500 children during this time. As with all non-profit organizations, funding is our biggest hurdle to manage. Our registration fees provide players with uniforms, insurance, league charters, umpires, and all necessary equipment. All of this equipment is returned at the end of each spring season, but as the program grows, it becomes necessary to buy new equipment due to the increased participation and to replace worn out and out dated equipment. The association is operated completely by community volunteers, including our governing board and the coaches within our organization.
As the baseball and softball programs continue to grow at a rapid pace, providing for our youth participants will become even more difficult. It is our hope that businesses within our community will become partners with us, in order to continue this wonderful service to our children.
We provide a drug, alcohol, and tobacco free environment in which kids can flourish.
We are currently accepting enrollment in our sponsorship program. There are several different levels of participation however any donation to the organization is appreciated and may be tax deductible. Please consult with your tax advisor for details.
